We walk the basement first, find where the water is really getting in, and build the fix that wall needs — not the one with the highest margin. That’s the whole idea behind Basement Medic.
Where We Come From
New Name, Focused Service
Basement Medic is the sister company of Crawlspace Medic. In Atlanta and Columbia it has the same ownership and the same people as the Crawlspace Medic office in the same city. Crawlspace Medic works crawl spaces. Basement Medic works basements. The care, the trust and the people stay the same.
A basement is not a bigger crawl space. It is finished, livable space, and a wet one costs more than a damp dirt floor ever will. The drainage, the wall reinforcement, the year-round moisture, all of it asks for work focused on basements. We started Basement Medic so basements would get that focus.

Basement Medic is new, so we will not wave a wall of reviews we have not earned. The photos below show a stained block wall, then wall liners, a sump basin and the strip of new concrete laid over an interior drain, so you can see the method before anyone visits.
How We Think About Water
Collect the Water, Then Pump It Outside.
Here is the method. An interior drain is trenched beside or below the footer, along the inside of the foundation wall. It collects the water as it comes in and carries it to a sump, and the pump sends it outside. Everything we build follows from that.
It is also why we stay product-agnostic. Our competitors are tied to one patented drainage system they have to sell, whether or not it suits your wall. We are not. We source the right material for the basement in front of us. We also trench beside and below the footer instead of dropping a drainage system on top of it. That single detail decides whether the footing your house rests on stays solid or quietly washes out from under it. We will not cut that corner to save an hour of labor.
